Walk into Le Cirque Signature for Franco-Italian gastronomic experiences that delight. Luckily, I was tempted to experience a uniquely crafted menu that exhibits some of the finest dishes that Le Cirque Signature, at the Leela Palace. The menu partied some of the signature French and Italian dishes from the flagship ‘Le Cirque’ in New York. My Experience at Le Cirque Franco-Italian Fine Dining Restaurant!
Le Cirque is a New York-based chain of restaurants, renowned for serving up some delectable Italian and French fare. When I heard about this restaurant, I was overjoyed! French and Italian food in one place!
First I tried Corn Soup. Made with cream corn, fresh corn kernels and bits of carrots and cabbage that add more flavor, the color was splendid. This thick vegetable sweet corn soup is luxury food for the soul.
Next, I tried Le Cirque Salad. A light & summery salad, the flavors were perfectly balanced with the tang from fresh berries and citrus fruits, the sweetness of figs, and some crunch from fresh fennel and sunflower seeds. If the one word to describe it; it’s fresh!
After, I turned towards Spaghetti Primavera. It’s one of that naturally simple spaghetti preparation, with butter and cream, fresh vegetables and spaghetti. It is in fact, the kind of pasta dish that authentic Italian is famous for, where a matter of ingredients come together to carry the diner to a different level!
For the main course, I chose to go with Chicken Diable or Devil chicken. A good illustration of how what looks like a simple dish being the culmination of a lot of ideas and hard work. It was pan cooked chicken breast, Dijon mustard sauce, morel mushrooms, potatoes, shallots. It was Yummy and Delicious. The Paupiette was a delicacy of Halibut, potato crust, stewed leek, and Rocca di Frassinello red wine sauce. The crisp pastry with ideally flavored filling.
Desserts are my loyal buddies, and I always keep some room for them. Served Creme Brulee, a traditional French custard with Caramelised sugar. One of the best I have had in the longest time. A light, creamy custard and not over sugared. It has a delicious vanilla flavor and that perfect crunch of the hard caramel on top. And the satisfying part was the recipe on the base. An appropriate end to the excellent meal.
